My
Cool
Japanese-inspired
Web
Name
As
someone
who
is
deeply
fascinated
by
Japanese
culture,
I’ve
always
admired
the
way
Japanese
names
sound
and
look.
That’s
why
when
it
came
to
choosing
a
web
name,
I
knew
that
I
wanted
something
that
reflected
my
love
and
appreciation
for
all
things
Japanese.
After
much
thought
and
consideration,
I
ended
up
settling
on
the
name
“Ryūjin.”
Ryūjin
is
the
Japanese
god
of
the
sea,
and
his
name
means
“dragon
god”.
I
chose
this
name
because
I
love
the
idea
of
being
associated
with
a
powerful
and
mythical
creature
like
a
dragon.
Plus,
I
have
a
bit
of
an
affinity
for
water,
so
the
fact
that
Ryūjin
is
the
god
of
the
sea
was
an
added
bonus.
As
for
the
“cool”
factor,
I
feel
like
the
name
Ryūjin
just
has
a
certain
edginess
to
it.
It’s
not
a
name
you
hear
every
day,
and
it
definitely
stands
out.
I
love
the
way
it
looks
written
out
in
Japanese
characters
(龍神),
and
I
think
it
has
a
nice
ring
to
it
when
you
say
it
out
loud.
Of
course,
I
don’t
just
use
my
web
name
to
sound
impressive
or
cool.
For
me,
it’s
a
way
of
expressing
my
identity
and
my
interests.
When
someone
sees
my
name
online,
they
know
right
away
that
I
have
a
connection
to
Japanese
culture.
It’s
a
conversation
starter,
and
it’s
a
way
for
me
to
connect
with
other
people
who
share
similar
interests.
Overall,
I’m
pretty
happy
with
my
choice
of
web
name.
I
feel
like
it
reflects
who
I
am
and
what
I’m
interested
in,
and
it
has
a
certain
uniqueness
to
it
that
sets
me
apart
from
others.
Plus,
it
just
sounds

really
badass.
What
more
could
you
ask
for?
